The 2020 version of The Stand features a new ending, perhaps one that fits into the COVID world this mini-series debuts in. There are 9 episodes in all, debuting every Thursday from Dec 17, 2020 to Feb 11, 2021. Available nowhere in Canada (for now). It is on CBS All Access, which is available in Canada, but it is blocked here because apparently Amazon Prime Video bought the rights for the mini-series in Canada, and plans to release it 'sometime in 2021'.
