You've heard about it - but who actually carries it?

Archive 81 on Netflix
An archivist hired to restore a collection of tapes finds himself reconstructing the work of a filmmaker and her investigation into a dangerous cult. An intriguing blend of horror and noir, Archive 81 offers addictive supernatural thrills.
It's not too late to jump on the Station Eleven bandwagon. Based on the novel, and told in ten parts, it's ostensibly about the few survivors of a devastating global pandemic, but deep down it is about the past, forgiveness and moving on.
Yellowjackets on Crave
A team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the Ontario(!) wilderness. Season One wraps up on Sunday, Jan 16, 2022, and has been renewed for a second season.
Succession on Crave
The Roy family is known for controlling the biggest media and entertainment company in the world. However, their world changes when their father steps down from the company.

New shows and movies we can't wait to watch -- but aren't available to stream in Canada

Dune on HBO Max
Dune is now available On-Demand through Apple TV, Prime Video and others. It is $24.99 to rent or $29.99 to buy. No word at this time as to when it will be available to stream as part of a subscription. When it happens it will likely be on Crave.
“Feature adaptation of Frank Herbert's science fiction novel, about the son of a noble family entrusted with the protection of the most valuable asset and most vital element in the galaxy.“
The Other Two on Crave + HBO
We're assuming this new season 2 will be on Crave, even though season 1 ran on CTV Comedy, because the show moved from Comedy Central to HBO Max in between seasons. HOWEVER, WE WERE WRONG. There's no sign of the second season on either Comedy or Crave.
“An aspiring actor and his sister Brooke, a former professional dancer, try to find their place in the world while wrestling with their feelings about their 13-year-old brother Chase's sudden rise to internet fame.“
Debuting Aug. 25. Rather than stick to one story all season, Double Feature is split in two completely separate parts, titled "Red Tide" and "Death Valley." Further details are a secret for now, but the first teaser certainly suggests that aliens will be involved in some way. It will only be available to stream if you are a cable TV subscriber to FX.
“An anthology series centering on different characters and locations, including a house with a murderous past, an insane asylum, a witch coven, a freak show circus, a haunted hotel, a possessed farmhouse, a cult, the apocalypse, and a slasher summer camp.“

Don't Look Up Comedy, Drama, Sci-Fi | December 24, 2021 (United States) 7.5
Director: Adam McKayWriter: Adam McKay, David SirotaStars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl StreepSummary: Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence), an astronomy grad student, and her professor Dr. Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio) make an astounding discovery of a comet orbiting within the solar system. The problem - it's on a direct collision course with Earth. The other problem? No one really seems to care. Turns out warning mankind about a planet-killer the size of Mount Everest is an inconvenient fact to navigate. With the help of Dr. Oglethorpe (Rob Morgan), Kate and Randall embark on a media tour that takes them from the office of an indifferent President Orlean (Meryl Streep) and her sycophantic son and Chief of Staff, Jason (Jonah Hill), to the airwaves of The Daily Rip, an upbeat morning show hosted by Brie (Cate Blanchett) and Jack (Tyler Perry). With only six months until the comet makes impact, managing the 24-hour news cycle and gaining the attention of the social media obsessed public before it's too late proves shockingly comical - what will it take to get the world to just look up?. —Netflix
